How do I start a custom?
Start by gathering some inspiration! Pinterest is a great place to browse, you can also check out our gallery to see past custom pieces we've created. Don’t worry about cost or stone size right now—just save anything that catches your eye so we can get a feel for your style. Once you’ve got a few ideas, contact us to book a consultation with Elliot. We’ll go over your designs, discuss options, and budget. If you have any gold, sitting in a drawer that you're ready to part with, bring it in and it may help lower the cost. Where are you located and what are your hours?
We are located at 412 13 Street North Lethbridge AB, across from the Scotiabank and Tim Hortons parking lot, we are open Monday-Friday 9:30-5:30 and closed on all statutory holidays.
Do you repair watches?
The short answer is no, we don’t repair watches or replace batteries. There are some rare situations where we repair a gold watch band. For all your watch repair needs we highly recommend Precision Watch Repair at 544 13th Street North Lethbridge AB, across from Taco Time.
Do you offer jewellery repairs?
Yes, we repair all kinds of jewellery. You’re welcome to bring in your piece whenever it works for you, no appointment is necessary.
Would you be able to check if my jewellery is genuine?
Yes, you’re welcome to come in anytime - no appointment is needed and there is normally no charge. Large batches of items to sort may have a charge for time on a case by case basis.
Do you fix eyeglasses?
Yes! We provide a temporary repair for eyeglasses, meant to last until your new pair arrives. Please keep in mind that due to the limitations of how the metal used for eyeglasses can be welded, it’s often not intended as a permanent fix.
Do you buy gold or silver?
Yes we buy gold but not silver. You can use it as in-store credit toward repairs, purchases, or custom designs. Alternatively, we can issue a payout via cheque to anyone over the age of 18 with a valid Alberta photo ID.
Do I need an appointment to come in?
No appointment is necessary for any repairs, selling gold or sorting through jewellery. We recommend booking an appointment with Elliot when wanting to discuss custom design, just to ensure he is here and available to help. Contact us to book an appointment.
Are you open Saturdays?
We are open Monday to Friday, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and closed on all statutory holidays.
Do you offer jewellery cleaning?
Yes, we do! We offer a full reconditioning, which includes polishing, buffing, and a deep clean. If you're short on time, we can also do a quick scrub and steam while you wait.
Do you offer engraving?
We do some inside ring engraving but not giftware or flatware. If we’re unable to accommodate your request, The Engravers by the Casino may be able to help.

Do you offer appraisals?
In most cases, appraisals aren’t required unless you're planning to insure your jewelry with a separate insurance rider. If you're just looking for a general idea of your item's value, we’re happy to provide a rough estimate — no appointment necessary. If you are needing an appraisal, feel free to contact us and we will do our best to assist you.
